Ardbeg is awful. It makes the Baby Jesus cry.
What Rye are you looking for? We have a number of different ones at work at the moment.
Ah, sorry we've not had Van Winkle a year or two. We do have the Rittenhouse Ryes at the moment.

G7.3 Fresh toffee and glossy magazines
Cask No. G7.3
The nose began with popcorn and a round of buttered toast with heather honey and apricot jam. Also freshly printed glossy magazines, chocolate, Werther’s Originals toffees and crème caramel. It was still sweet but surprisingly fiery and hot to taste with pencil shavings, cardboard and brown manila envelopes. Water made the nose richer and creamier and prompted references to a toffee shop, cardboard boxes of old books, leather and pineapple cubes. It also brought out a tannic, slightly bitter taste together with spicy, woody notes, dried flowers (lavender and roses) and a white pepper warmth. This Ayrshire distillery began production in 1964.
Drinking tip: Go easy with the water
Date Distilled: 28 May1984 Colour: Honey bronze Age: 27 years Cask Type: Refill ex bourbon hogshead Whisky Region: Girvan
