There's quite a buzz here about Sabbath. No one I know is going because money. But they've allegedly set up a projector and sound system and everyone I know will be watching. A legally paid-for livestream of the show from 15:00 to finish. That does mean we'll miss Alestorm, oh well.
This coincides with several birthdays, so it should be a good day.

Unless they cut all the changeovers and make it so that by the end the stream sync's with what's happening live.

The touring guys tolerate the local guys, as the touring guys are super well drilled and the locals just show up on the day and do their best. A lot of locals are frankly a bit shit, but not all of us.

A slight from me against the road/local crews from me? Not at all what I meant, more that I’ve seen many of those bands and they have a lot of equipment and setup at any gig I’ve been at has been 30+ minutes - sound checking taking up most of that time. To see a band turnaround in 5 minutes is mad to me but clearly it happened yesterday.
