Yep, definitely the weakest series.
Suffers from the lack of McNulty, Avon and Stringer.
Maybe just too many characters too?

Still brilliant though.
Some of the scenes with the kids are amazing, and heartbreaking too.

What's the story with that Randy Wagstaff kid?
i thought it was gonna come out that he was related to Cheese, cuz his surname is Wagstaff too but the fact never arises.

I also finished season 2 the other night and found it to be tragic but great. Poor Sobotka!

Fair point, but especially Frank.
Ziggy was definitely going to pay the price for getting his lad out so much in the first two episodes. Its an unwritten rule of drama.
Not enough McNulty in this series though.

Reiterating the question of having somewhere to watch it online?
I'm half way through series 4 but have run out of streaming links. And quite against the grain of this conversation, I think 4 might be one of my favourites so far. 2 is the weakest for me.

2 is amazing the more you watch it. The first time round it does seem a bit slow because it takes a while for the case to get going but the second time around watching it I got way more into what was going on with the Dock lads.

4 was my favourite first time around and probably still is although 4 and 5 are very similiar in feel.

working on trying to download season 5 now, takin its time though! gonna be sad when its all over, probably have to start watchin it all over again!

tvshack.net has all of it, the site will usually only let you watch about 70 mins at a time but if you flick you're internet box off and on again you can keep watching.

Finally finished watching The Wire last night. Definitely though Seasons 1 & 4 were my favourites with 2 coming very close behind. 3 was ok, and 5 a little disappointing but still better than most other shows! I really thought the child actors were great. Nice, and also pretty sad to see how they turned out in the end.

Season two was my favourite simply for the gratuitous scene where Amy takes her top off !!
