Men need to have life skills.
You can't be some shoulder-shrugger that's been mothered half to death.
There might be some vast swathe of women out there that focus exclusively on the inner beauty of your soul, but in my experience the more you can handle your business, the better you'll get on with the opposite sex.

Can't say I'd be all that impressed with a bird in her thirties that couldn't drive either. That's a red flag in itself.
