i think i asked this on here before, but i can't find it.

what's the max that a self-employed person can earn in a year before owing tax?

this stuff always gives me headaches.

revenue.ie is a really great site. There is nothing no matter how arcane I haven't been able to find relatively quickly.

for a single person its 9,150 in 2010 (less for 2011 cos of budget changes)

WORKED OUT: single person tax credit is 1830
so if ya earned 9,150 its taxed @ 20% = 1830 gross tax due. So your tax credit would cover your it.
