you now need to stick a semicolon after the user name - this is due to problems with tagged names like @Theodore Kaczynski ; being mis-identified as the user @The ;

Theodore Kaczynski ; is always ruinin things for the rest of us

i think the problem with semicolon needed / not needed might have something to do with how many times users are @'d on the page
