the royal oak is great though

the snug in the royal oak is legend, you feel like a child ordering from the massive high bar though

i actually preferred the first half.

yeah, guinness and dry roasted peanuts.
i used the toilet at one stage too.

actually, the highlight of the evening was the free green vodka drink.

drew me towards the table at the back of the
room. after a couple of free drinks, someone
pointed out that they're actually peoples dregs

a more sensitive soul would have felt pretty
disgusted. sure what of it!

i really enjoyed it. thought the second bit could have been longer though. the american military complex bit of c4i was a bit clumsy i thought. and i noticed two spelling mistakes in c4i. tsk!

That was exactly my reaction, too. The first part was, as a friend brilliantly put it, "a bit too National Geographic". And most of the quotes were pretentious new-age bollocks. The second half was much better (more abstraction, less reality -- always a good thing).

But considering that I was looking forward to the show quite a bit, I was kinda disappointed overall. Ah well.
