Bent is a proven premiership goal scorer. English clubs could see Suarez as a potential Forlan.

The Bent situation once again brings up my issues with English football transfers i.e Since no English lads ever deliver abroad the financially better off in england teams could concivably control all players movement. Though maybe that's changing Pienaar telling chelsea to fuck off would never have happened over the last 5 years.

That would be the Forlan who went had a reputation for going ages without scoring, but during that time most of his appearances were 5 minutes on the wing, and then scored for 7 consecutive games once he got a starting run. Most clubs would be happy enough with one of those.

Also he had the occasional wardrobe malfunction.

Shine seriously gone off the apple since cheating the whole continent of Africa gate, strike rate this season has been poorer, he's been causing trouble in the squad (a sure sign that he's been hanging around Dutch footballers too long) and he bit an opponent last year. Ajax were talking about €35mill for him last year, guy from voetball international said on Off The Ball last night they rate him closer to 20 right now.

I'm not holding anything against him, I don't give a shit about the penalty, I'm just putting forward a theory as to why his value has fallen through in the last 7 months aside from him not scoring at a rate of nearly a goal a game lately. When you buy a player, especially a young goal scoring South American on some level you're also paying for his image rights, his marketability has taken a bit of a hiding .

Ya can't really call 13 goals in 23 games a 'lack of goals'. Granted its not the goal per game record he had last year but ya don't expect that every year.
