I was at the first set. Didn’t know him at all and very much enjoyed it.

I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped. I don't think it was the right enviroment for him.

I want to watch jazz sitting at a table, not standing in a room of other sweating middle aged men.

I'd also prefer him with an ensemble.

I was standing in the little raised area by the bar so could see him from the shoulders up, would have preferred to see his hands but it was enough to get the vibes. I’d hate to have been a short person standing on the flat.
