This really bugs me because my CD of this (somewhere in the attic) has the original Bela Lugosi on it but the streaming version has a far inferior remix on it.

There is another bauhaus compilation, but it has a live version of Bela on it.
I wanted the full studio version, so went with Crackle.

On a Miles tip these days. There's worse places to be...

February bits

Roger Doyle - Homemade Ivory Dreams (Allchival LP)
The Tony Williams Lifetime - Emergency! (2xLP, Album, RE)
Daniel Löwenbrück & Fabian Löwenbrück - Das Lebacher Orgelwerk "Weihnachtsoratorium" (LWV 156) (Krim Kram, CD)
Luc Van Acker / Pas De Deux - The Fear In My Heart / Cardiocleptomanie (Stroom 7")
Tanz Mein Herz - Redux (Standard In-Fi, Desastre LP)
France - Destino Scifosi (Standard In-Fi LP)
The Revenge / 6th Borough Project - Cadillac / Planets (Jiscomusic, 12")

I bought a Mountain Goats record and my son bought a Drake record. Got home and played them and they sounded like shit, speaker cutting out etc. We tried to fix the £100, 90s, richer sounds record player and properly killed the thing.

ATROFIA CEREBRAL - Neuronas Destuidas LP. reissued 1989 Peruvian noisecore demo
BLOOD - Impulse to Destroy LP (long overdue vinyl reissue of 1989 German grindcore debut. Very similar but better than Napalm because of the ace brutal production)
NO CUT - Humanism / Tragic a Present LP. reissue of 1983/84 Kyushu punk demos sounds like Riot City bands
BULLDOZER - The Final Separation LP reissue of 1986 Milan band's second LP

All on CD

Duran Duran – Seven and the ragged badger

I feel like a teeny bopper compared to Nuke’s list

I LUV new wave music. The last great era for pop. I am slightly too young to remember much of it from the time.
My disappointment with most popular genres since led me to noisy music.
The first two Duran LPs are cool.
Those Cherry Red (great label have loads of their reissue CDs from 1993 onwards) genre comp. sets are very well done but I have too many tracks on some of them already.
Don't know a lot of the tracks on the power pop one but the synth one sounds good. Some cool German / Euro stuff on there.

I had a listen to some of ATROFIA CEREBRAL - Neuronas Destuidas.
I'm not at that point yet.
Noise in short bursts, fine.
A full album of it?
Can't do it. I need some kind of tune, structure ect...

Those hombres are grande at that malarkey. As bueno as it gets. All their stuff sounds like this - If it's broken don't fix it!
Muchas gracias for giving them a listen!
I appreciate you took the time. I listen to lots of Thumped suggestions. I only like a bit of it but it's worth a small bit of time.

There are bands who play this kind of stuff on a more structured way.
MATERIA ORGANICA (1991) one track 0:38 seconds.

Someone sent me a tape in 1994 with this demo on it.
This another old project of the same Lima hombres. More grindcore this time I love the stark raw murky distortion on this. This is 4 real.

I rarely like the overproduced, too clean sounding stuff bigger labels in death / grind scene release. No point to clean sounding grind.

Here's one of my favourite bands of the 1990's - EXCRETED ALIVE (named after a Carcass song) from Sevilla.
Now these hombres were really brutal grind noise to start with but ended up doing longer songs that had catchy bits and still sounded grind noise. Some almost funky bass bits. How did they manage this??! First few minutes of this tape comp are good examples

Dopi from more conventional Spanish grinders Machetazo said E.A. were "worst band in Spain".

Cripple Bastards were noisecore but moved in early 90's into much more structured songs.

Cripple Bastards - Life Built on Thoughts 7" (1993) 16 songs.

Stimmung end of first side @ 5:10 is a (mostly) melodic tune w/ "Wooaah!" backing vocals.
"IT'S SO UNFAIR, I CAN'T GIVE A FUCK, A BITTER SHIT TO SWALLOW LIVING IN CONSTANT HATE (WooOoohWoooahh)"

All of these have been reissued - most several times - inc. the Peruvian bands and C.B. vinyl reissues last year.
After 30 plus years I still love this stuff.
EDIT:
One other point noisecore LPs are rare, almost unheard of. I only have a few. The ATROFIA CEREBRAL demo LP is less under 20 minutes.
