For those who want to actually search Rapidshare, try this in google -

cab OR exe OR rar OR zip “example” site:rapidshare.de

where "example" is your keyword.

Now, in return, any boffins out there know if its possible to trace Rapidshare passwords if you have the filepath already? I doubt it of course, but it is fucking annoying when you download an .RAR file and it's locked. Or is there even a way of telling beforehand if it is encrypted so you don't waste your time?

it is, and there are RAR password recovery tools out there, but it takes forever

and i mean more so to hack than recover. i never had them in the first place!!

i think to crack rar passwords its tries different words froma dictionary and different combinations of words and numbers.if it was a long password it could take a long time.
supose you could try googling the rapidshare file name or the link to the rapidshare page to see if the password is up on some bolg page or something like that

You can d'load a program that clears some sort of IP address cache bidness thusly eliminating having to wait an hour for rapidshares.
