Anyone get calls from guys who know your name and say that you're on a list for trading, and do you want to invest? Or today I got a call asking if I wanted to talk about that money I had lost, and do I want to get it back? I said "There must be some mistake, I don't trade in stocks. I am a poor person." and he hung up immediately.

Should I be reporting this to the cops or something? I'm wondering about the motivation and mechanics of what appears to be some kind of scam, and whether I need to be worried.

ever since facebook got done over a couple of years back this kind of thing has been on the increase

Ballbags! I been getting lots of robots calling me up too. Oddly I don’t mind that as much.

I’ve gotten calls where they know my name and my legal name that even my family don’t use.
I’ve contacted the guards and phone company and both said there’s nothing they could do about it.
I’ve over 500 numbers blocked now.

Only one of them, the other is pretty much just the bank and work.
I had a meeting with some people from Meta a while ago, but I don’t think they would have done it.

I had a guy ring me early yesterday morning (I was still in bed! it was Sunday!) asking if I wanted a part-time job working for tiktok
