Paramount Comedy (1 Viewer)

I used to get this sorta MTV station TMF (The Music factory) up until this week. Now it's gone and has been replaced by Paramount Comedy, which is basically a whole evening of half hour comedy as follows:

Cheers
Frasier
Seinfeld
Minder
Mash
Sex and the City
Will and Grace


...and it's more or less the same line up every evening. Although i wouldn't watch all of those, it's not bad for free TV sure it's not?

there was moving around in ntl world, the moved the amp to another channel number for no apparant reason(considering there's no new channel at the old number). There's also now a paramount 2.
I just want the horror channel.

On Tuesday night all it had was fuckin Ally McBeal, Sex and the City and Dharma and Greg.
The only funny thing about it is that Paramount sounds a bit like 'tantamount', which is a pretty funny word. or is tantamount to being a funny word.

they used to show this brilliant short cartoon on it, late at night. it was a spoof of the old 70's cop shows except it has two priests, tracking down rogue priests and people who strayed from "the flock". dont know what it was called, definatly look out for it.

Been addicted to Paramount comedy since it came on... Still having a hard time with Seinfeld, although I AM trying...
I've yet to laugh...
There must be something wrong with me conciderin' I concider Curb You're Entheusasium (Thats a fuckin hard word to spell) utter genius...

It kinda makes sense that you would love Curb your Enthusiasm but not like Seinfeld, as Curb Your Enthusiasm is the same kind of comedy but done much much better. It doesn't have the cheesy sitcom feel to it that you get with Seinfeld.

How come there aren't any Irish or English sitcoms shown on this channel or any others?? It's all American -- as an American, I find this very annoying, because I think a lot of the American sitcoms (not to mention all the lawyer shows and doctor shows and crime shows) pretty crap. What happened to the comedy and creativity of Father Ted? I like The Panel, but there should be more Irish comedy for feck's sake.
