Also, Irish sitcoms are shite! and most british ones aren't much better.

their censorship really depends on the show

with one show that they use to show, A Minute with Stan Hooper, they allowed Fred Willard's characther (he did Wally in the simpsons superbowl episode plus other assorted roles) to say "let's not talk about that crazy bitch infront of the G-I-R-L"

while the programme straight afterwards, they would censor Ted Danson giving out about things

They seem to cut loads of scenes out of That 70s Show that might contain somewhat racy subject matter, even when it's shown at ten or eleven at night. It's annoying.

Sounds like some syndication issues there. It's quite common.
