can't remember the spec but i can't imagine it'll get any faster if i get the 100mb will it?

ALSO, my ps3 is wired to the router, but it only gets about 4MB download, are they throttled?

Provided your modem can support it you'll get around 70mbps over wifi on the 100mb.

I have the same problem with psn and slow downloads. It has to be something to do with ports or maybe sonys network is just shite.

Got moved over onto the 50mb

Finally placed the upgrade order today and the new magic box is being couriered out tomorrow... internet dropped bang on midnight for a couple of minutes so i thought i'd check a speedtest to see if they'd pulled the trigger...

What package is that for? I'm supposed to be on 120Mb, but am getting nothing close to that. Granted, I'm running the test over wireless, but I'm using 802.11n, so wouldn't expect that big a hit in performance.

150mb, wired connection and it wouldn't peak like that all the time on speedtest.net

http://speedtest.upc.ie/ tells me

Last Result:
Download Speed: 158342 kbps (19792.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 10478 kbps (1309.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 5 ms

speedtest.imagine.ie says 49.75 down / 10 up
