I'm back in Germany for the summer, hanging out with my dad and siblings somewhere south of the middle of nowhere in small-town Germany. It's really hot (35C+) and I haven't slept properly for about a week. I spend most days at the swimming pool, and read a lot. I'm fairly sure that my parents' recent divorce and my subsequent abrupt move to Ireland have caused me some sort of emotional damage, and that I don't want to go back to the weird Irish school and weird Irish kids in September, but because I'm 9 years old, I haven't quite grasped what that means yet. All I know that I don't talk much, have become very passive, and cry a lot when no-one's around.
