When someone new comes into a soap.... Within a few days everyone knows them and confides in them, they get a job in the local pub/caff, the barmaid gives them the eye and they have a run in with the local alpha male silver back.

I can't get to sit down for more than five minutes. I sit down to use the computer or the phone, I have to get up and look for chargers. I sit back down again and one of the dogs needs to be let out and then let back in again. Then the other one needs to be let out and back in. Then I have to get up to find the remote. Then I need to get up and get a drink. It's fucking relentless.

Sitting is very bad for your health, if that's any comfort.
