New (secondhand) car is going to be way more than €2200 though. If we were to do a straight swap for even a slightly newer version of this one, it’s going to be €20,000. And as it stands we can’t comfortably fit the whole family into it.

Reminds me of a work trip I went on about 5 years ago to Lubbeck to scout a new product.

The product was great, brilliant piece of engineering, designed by a guy with a phd. Not a hope I could bring it to market in Ireland given the price point they were pitching it at but I was very impressed.

Another lad we were with, also a mechanical engineer, started asking a few questions WRT to what to do with system failures etc.

Yer man who designed it. "I have designed it to work."
