Interviewing for a job and having that horrible anxious feeling that I CAN NOT DO THIS.

I did this during a job interview for a job I knew I didn't want 5 seconds after the interview started. After I walked out I realised I'd taken a wrong turn and couldn't find my way out so I retraced my steps to find the interviewer standing outside the office looking utterly bemused talking to a security guard. I wouldn't say I was escorted out but the Guard did follow me to the door.


I didn't get the job.

No I meant just unsubtly imply that you want to have sex with the interviewer. If the opertuinity arises be bold try "I want to be on you....I mean on your team" then blush a little giggle and look him/her straight in the eye and smile like you know exactly where the office supply closet is. I'd do it but I'd definitely be thrown out of the building by security especially since i love nothing more than stealing office supplies.

been there. did a series of phone interviews and then a sit down interview. ended up getting offered the job. i refused as i knew full well i'd be out of my depth. it wasn't as if i'd bullshitted either. i was very honest about my experience but they seemed really anxious to get the position filled. i could just see a lot of staying late to get myself up to speed. i was travelling for a year so i didn't really want that hassle.

That could go really well and land me in the position I'm underqualified for, or it could go terribly and my ego, pride and career prospects would cinder at my feet.

Yep this is exactly my situation, I have no real intention of being in Brighton long enough for it to really be worth the hassle, but unfortunately I kind of need to take whatever I get. Its making me feel rather anxious indeed.
