lcd vs plasma televisions (1 Viewer)

You're quite right.. anyone who uses their TV as a giant computer monitor is probly better off buying an LCD, but for movies/telly the plasma is just better suited technically.

Of course they are heavy big bastards. I'd love to see someone actually attach their telly to the ceiling above the bed like in the Panasonic ad. Try sleeping with the thought of 40 kilos of glass as plastic attached to plasterboard 5 feet from yer head..

telly on the ceiling = the dream

you could do it easily enough with some decent bolts into the joists....
