shitness. Didn't realise they were going to the UK and not the other way around. Anyway. The fact that people can't travel too easily doesn't make any difference. Strikes usually involve some sort of inconvenience for the general public.

The fact that they werent informed that the trip was cancelled till a few hours before they were due to set off was the poxiest thing. If it was a week or so, or even a few days it would have made a major difference

the idea of a strike is that disrupting business is the most likely way to get a result from the company. duh. this is like people asking why can't you have critical mass on a sunday when there's no traffic to disrupt.
