These no multi-tasking and no flash arguments make me laugh, I can totally live without them. If you're used to a windows world well then you're sold on the fact a billion different processes are eating up background memory draining the battery.
There is some degree of multi-tasking on the iPhone (and hence iPad). Music from the ipod plays in the background, mail.app check itself in the background (even better is the exchange active sync). and notifications handle everything else nicely for me. I don't need a twitter client sucking data in the background only to be alerted of new updates (which if you follow 60-80 people is pretty much all the time). Can someone give a decent example of why multi-tasking is a deal breaker?
And no flash = less crashes, less battery drains & MORE money for Steve jobs as game developers will have to release game apps through the App Store.
