Blogging, Podcasting, Moodles etc. are big news for the education sector now. Basically there's a massive problem in getting teachers (and the dept. of ed) to embrace innovative teching using technology. It's an area that can be really creative.

I'm been a programmer for 11 years now, nearly, and I'm so fucking tired of it. I'm good at it, and I need the money, so I can't really afford to retrain

Anyone got any suggestions?

First we need computers that are newer than 10 years old and that actually switch on. Then we need proper tech support from the Dept. of Education.

tee hee hee..in all the schools ive been into ,and although they are constantly referred to in our lectures, i have never once seen an interactive whiteboard in a classroom..

You're gonna need to future proof yr plans a little bit and get one of these for each of yr students.
