When I was a kid I loved Brigadoon, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, Robin and the Seven Hoods and West Side Story.

Didn't realise that was from a musical. In fact I don't know anything about it, except for the tune and the words of the chorus (and the fact that I ripped off the former in a tune of mine own).

Oh look. Google says it's from Calamity Jane. That's the one with Whipcrack away in it too, isn't it? Maybe snaky's right and I do like musicals after all

I love Musicals, rather unashamedly! Wicked (to be a stereotypical girl only, of course), Dancer in the Dark, Rocky Horror (in a non ironic way thanks), Grease, Jesus Christ.., Billy Elliot... fuck me though, was 'Across the Universe' awful. Apart from the cast being absolutle rides that is.

Blood Brothers is great. It's real dark and murderous. And has some great songs in it. 'Good Morning Baltimore' from Hairspray is a deadly song. So is 'Defying Gravity' from Wicked. But Gilbert and Sullivan make me hate music.
