Grindhouse is good btw.
Rodriguez’ one was considerably superior. Tarantino’s one was more like an episode of a really good tv show rather than a movie, or a B movie.
It needs to be seen as a double bill I would reckon, no other way to do it. It’s still only three and a half hours at that.

I'd agree with most of that.
I'd seen them both before on DVD but it was good to see them both together and with an audience.

I think the DVD I have has the lapdance from Death Proof on it.

Are they not considerably shorter in the double bill.
I remember the commentary on Planet Terror with robert pointing out stuff that wasn't in the theatrical cut. Seemed to be loads.
Cant see Death Proof being shorter being a bad thing buh

Cineworld showed the Grindhouse double bill as a one-off a couple of months ago. It was fuckin great! I just hope they make Machete, looks amazing.

I'd rather just watch that trailer repeatedly for the duration of a film; there's no way a full length film could be that good.
