someone told me that shop was in bray...

the Skkatter remix of Ggggggalway is wicked - check it here www.skkatter.net

Roisin Dubh has American Music Club this friday (yipee!!! in a sadcore sort of way)
I'm also a fan of the blue note around the corner from the roisin.... O'Connors in salthill is the weirdest pub in galway.... some sort of maritime throwback !ninjaaaa ....
bring an umbrella  .... the nightclubs are silly !ninjaaaa

Almost forgot , gig in Richardsons in Eyre Square on saturday night:

PUMICE, UNITED BIBLE STUDIES, RUSTIC TACKI.
29th January 2005 (Saturday)
@ Richardsons, Galway. Doors 8pm, €6.

has anyone ever been to one of the Optimo nights in the GPO? Any ggggood?
I think I went to that.
Best thing to do in Galway is get some cans and go drinking underneath the Spanish Arch.

nope, but the jip-oh was a craphole when I lived up there. twas a last option only-if-you-had-a-free-pass late drinkhole/club. galway's terrible acchilles heel is the lack of decent late bars.

then, that was 2.5 years ago, the jip might be better now. still no decent late bars tho..

ah the galway's getting better. At least you can see a non-cover band these days. still, i love galway but i wouldn't want to live there. Great days.

i wouldn't know, i hang out at that dodgy looking stripclub beside the roisin.
the Front Door, that's a nice pub and you get free chicken wings on a friday at approx. 6.30 ;)

I'm heading up on Friday night.

DO NOT MISS the American Music Club WITH, WITH, WITH Emmett Tinley of The Prayer Boat opening. I'll be the big girlyman in a puddle at the foot of the stage.

The same double bill is here in Dublin on Saturday night at Vicar Street.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop taking Paxil.

I'm prolly gonna take the train unless someone is driving?
See you there!

Ta,

Thomas
