Driving Test (3 Viewers)

one of them was a karaoke singer, he liked to practice his songs in the car (mostly sinatra and westlife) while wearing a wig, he'd hold my hand changing gears

this reminds me of a physiotherapist my friend visited because she had back problems. she mentioned in passing one day that during that days visit the physio had been working on her hair. when i asked her to clarify this she said he had been stroking her hair to help with her back.

i go to a dr herb guy sometimes, he does that too, then he pretty much punches me in the back a few times, feel loads better afterwards, seriously.
sometimes he puts glass balls on my back and heats them up a bit to such the air out, it leaves me with bruises that look like a giant squid attacked me.

Cupping - that is excellent. It's to draw the lactic acid out of the muscles. The bruises can be pretty funny looking though.

Good luck with the driving test.

thanks, foolishly agreed to babysit last night, 3rd coffee and things are still a bit blurry from no sleep. maybe it'll help!!

thanks, much to everyones relief i've stopped bouncing around hugging people.

Haven't gone through the thread but i applied for mine. Does anyone know if they will do the test in a car where the front light cover is slightly smashed but the bulb works fine?

you wouldn't know, you could get a prick of an instructor, like part of the test is questions on the health of your car.

i wouldn't risk it - they're kind of picky about the condition of the car. so don't leave fag ash and old bottles of beer everywhere

Bollox, could do without getting it done to be honest. Toyota dealers quoted me 108 euro to get the part in and installing it. Bag of gees.

I thought that as long as you have a valid NCT it should be ok..

you could tell him it got broken on the way to the test--if he asks

do you have to go to a toyota dealer?? a headlight is just usually a few clips and screws, its a 20 minute job generally. if its toyota then you'll certainly get something at a breakers yard.

Yeah my NCT is fine until next year. Nothing on the driving test site about the lights either bar that they work.

Was also thinking of using that excuse too. Say a shopping trolly hit into it or something.

Not too sure. I just called them to get a quote. I also asked a mate who works for Toyota so he's looking into ordering me in one. I'll ask him if it can be done by myself too. That would be sweet. It's only the indicator cover for a corolla so it's not the whole headlight.

what year?:??

12 quid on ebay.

i've been doind this recently, buy the part myself, land into the mechanic and hand it to him when i'm getting a service, he just charges for labour time then.

Thanks a million, i'll look into this. €12 is pretty good.

Might see if i can do the test withough fixing it first, if not then i'll definately look into it.
