finally my quasi interesting story can be told:
one time in temple bar, D McS mocked my hat as part of his show.
i slunk away all pissed off.
a week or two later, i was on abbey street,when i noticed a passerby drop their hat.
being a conscientious type of person i picked up the hat and called them ,as i did,i noticed that it was none other than David McS.
instead i pocketed the hat and took it home.
on inspection i found it hilarious that david thought my hat was funny.
his hat's fucking huge!
i can fit my whole head in there ,plus a can of lynx!

standard of comedy in dublin is dire. no new ideas , same shite comedians cropping up time, and time, and time again . when was the last time we'd a comedian who was genuinely funny and had some interesting going on ? still Dylan Moran really isnt it ? we've 3-5 good decent comedians and the rest are a bag o' shite.

Dave O Doherty is decent . Never seen him but Jarlaith O'Regan is apparently quality. Dead Cat Bounce im told are good , gonna catch them on Saturday . know of 1-2 others whose name i dont know but thought they were good. I'd count Mario Rosenstock as one , still think Gift Grub is brillant . thats about it though
