the day they announce they have one will be something else. Like, even if it takes another 6 months for it to the lowest left serf, such as myself, I would imagine that everyone will have a fair old spring in their step for that 6 months. And even if it's 12 months, just imagine, removing the uncertainty, the not knowing when this will end, how great that's gonna be.

I think we've only a month or few of this shit left. Then, at least, we should know what the roadmap is for getting back to some kind of 'normality'. I'd imagine that 'normality' will be a damn sight better than what we knew before.

the daughter of a chap i know has narcolepsy. she's exactly the demographic you'd expect to be able to say 'oh you got it from that rushed vaccine' but he says they're 99% certain she didn't get the shot. he wishes she had, cos at least there'd be compensation then...

I’d be surprised if a vaccine could be rolled out nationally in 2022. They’re only going to be able to manufacture and distribute so much, they will need to prioritise frontline staff at least.
