provolone on a hero sub or roast beef dip.

I saw Martin McGuinness earlier today in Temple Bar

But he wasn't a 'Provo Alone'- he was with his family.

Do any other readers have cheese related sightings of Irish politicians?

Three pages and no love for Gruyere, that stuff melts so good... put it on everything. Crisp, rasher and gruyere sandwich. Epic.

How far past the use-by date do you go with the cheese? Superquin only sells cheese thats just about to go out of date and I don't like to pig out too much on it. I always figured that the mouldy stuff was gone off anyway

i do the same. yesterday they had loads of the nice superquinn sausages all over the place, and bread with some sort of nice ham. one day there just before christmas they had loads of stuff. I had cheese, mince pies, crab, prawns, some nice fancy cured meats, vienetta, wine, berries. Didn't have to bother getting anything for dinner in the end.

The Uni bar have added a BBQed Haloumi sandwich to the menu. It was glorious.
