The insanity continues....

Former Big Brother housemate Dawn Blake has gone on hunger strike in a bid to force the show's producers to hand over unedited footage of her time inside.

The 38-year-old yoga fanatic said she was held against her will and needs evidence of her requesting to leave the house to support a complaint she has made to police.

Dawn said she was also furious about assertions made in the programme that she had refused to wash. The Birmingham exercise scientist insisted she had taken three showers and washed a further three times during her six days on the show.

Dawn said: "When I came out of the Big Brother house I saw how I was portrayed and a lot of it is not true, it's been edited in a way I don't like, not because I don't look so great but because it's just not true.
"When they said they booted me out, I said I wanted to leave. When they said Dawn refused to wash, that was so untrue.

"I am asking for a copy of the unedited footage in its entirety and I will remain on hunger strike until I get it. I will continue until I pass out."
Dawn said she could not afford the legal fees to bring a case for defamation and said going on hunger strike was her only option.

In a statement, she said: "I was smeared by the production team as a smelly cheat. I have therefore decided until I get all the footage requested unedited and documentation I will go on hunger strike as of today. I want everyone to see what happened in the house and only getting the tapes will you all see the truth."

A spokeswoman for the programme said Dawn, who left on the morning of 25 May, was booted out of the Big Brother house for breaking the rules.

What a nutcase...I dont see what getting the tapes would even achieve if everybody already sees her as a "smelly cheat".

i liked dawn, even if she was a stinky bitch

an account of what happened last night for those who missed it

For those that don’t know; there was a lengthy confrontation last night between Richard, Imogen, Sezer, and Mikey which also involved most of the other housemates to some degree.

The Prelude
---------------------------------------------------------------

Lisa seemed to be trying to make some home brew hooch or something from some apples. Big Brother confiscated or swapped this home brew with some wine and beer. Imogen, Sezer and some others decided that they didn’t feel like drinking and partying, made some sort of request that some alcohol be left for them and went to bed. Most of the hms bar, Imogen, Sezer, Grace and the two new hms, were left in the kitchen to party and drink. Somehow more alcohol was obtained from BB. While in bed Imogen and Sezer overheard an announcement by BB to the hms and both suspected more alcohol was being supplied. Sezer went to investigate.

The Action
---------------------

Sezer went into the main house; he exchanged a few pleasantries with various hms and then went into the garden where Pete and Glyn attempted to hide some wine and beer. Sezer spotted what they were doing but didn’t mention it and returned to the bedroom where he informed Imogen that the others were hiding alcohol from them.

Imogen got dressed and she and Sezer went into the kitchen area. Sezer approached the other hms in a very reasonable tone and said he thought it was unfair that they were hiding alcohol; he didn’t mind them drinking any bonus alcohol but hiding it was unfair on the group and anti-social. Richard, who had a major part in the decision to hide the alcohol, adopted an exasperated manner of someone who had been unfairly accused and impugned and whose patience was being tried by some petulance of others. In a supposed act of generosity, he offered Sezer and Imogen some of the remaining alcohol. Sezer said he didn’t want it, he just objected to the alcohol being hidden. Then sezer said that he would rather talk about it in the morning and they should all let it go for tonight.

Then seeing an opportunity Richard went onto the offensive, presumably as some sort of diversion from the guilt of being involved with hiding the alcohol. He implied that hiding it from Sezer was justified because of the conversation he had heard between Imogen and Sezer in bed two nights before and which was discussed in the garden and covered in the highlights programme on Wednesday night.

( In that discussion in the garden Richard accused Imogen of constantly giving him dirty looks and being homophobic because in the conversation he had overheard she said “I don’t have anything against gays but….”. Imogen explained that she had loads of gay friends and was not homophobic, but she was concerned that Richard and Sezer seemed to be playful in such a way that her parents could interpret Sezer as being bisexual or something similar, and she thought her parents would not approve of her having a relationship with such a person.)

Richard’s sudden reference to the issue of Imogen’s conversation in bed some two days before and also claims that she and Sezer were bitching about the other hms set Mikey off. Suddenly Mikey was transformed into an articulate and dynamic character ready to right wrongs.

Mikey had earlier complained to Richard, as chief party animal, that Sezer and Imogen and others should not be excluded from the alcohol. He had also observed earlier ( or had reported to him by Glyn) that Richard accused Imogen and Sezer of constantly bitching and that Imogen was a false plastic bitch ( the bitch comment may have been relayed by Glyn ). Mikey didn’t say anything at the time but Richard’s latest comments caused him to go onto the offensive. He made two very crucial points, one that Richard had bitched at least as much as Imogen and Sezer and he was hypocritical to criticise them, and two, why did he raise the issue of the conversation Sezer and Imogen had in bed when that had nothing to do with the alcohol issue, which was the current problem.

Richard was left with very little defence and diverted onto a wide variety of irrelevant issues, and wherever possible he focussed on the supposedly false accusation that he had called Imogen a bitch. Mikey very intelligently ( yep he was on amazing form as though possessed ) then withdrew the bitch accusation and asked Richard to deal with the main issues. Richard floundered and gradually got more agitated by being surrounded by the “plastic” gang as he calls them and eventually lambasted Imogen with a tirade of unprovoked aggressive and deeply personal abuse. He called her false, placid, boring, dull, transparent amongst other things. This set Imogen off into the most vigorous tirade and she countered Richard’s accusations and delivered some of her own and defended her right to be quiet.

Amazingly Sezer restrained from biffing Richard despite the abuse delivered to Imogen, and when she had finished he launched his own tirade at Richard and explained to the other hms the background to the conversation he and Imogen had in bed that I described above. He was very, very lucid and reasonable. He explained again that he didn’t resent the partying and drinking bonus alcohol but that hiding it was unfair and explained how members of the group should be considered. He then connected with Lea, Pete and Glyn, and explained that he and Imogen couldn’t nominate etc and so they were not responsible for who was evicted. He was in stunning form and reasonable and non-aggressive throughout.

Richard had disappeared into the garden and when he returned there was another round of accusations. He again tried to divert from the main issues as he was verbally assaulted by Mikey and Sezer. He did begin to backtrack over some of his behaviour, but then the discussion moved onto his abuse of Imogen; he claimed he was just being honest about his feelings. Sezer countered quite correctly that being honest is fine but one can make comments without being vicious. He said the “scornful” and aggressive delivery and language was nothing less than “bullying” as Richard was a big man and Imogen was an “innocent child”. Once on this theme, and with Richard denying any wrongdoing, Sezer got more and more aggressive, called Richard “sc*um” and was called off by BB to the diary room

Richard was left to be further verbally assaulted by Mikey who pressed home the point about Richard’s hypocrisy with regard to bitching and eventually Richard retired again to the garden. There he pondered and gradually realise that his abuse of Imogen was unjustified and that perhaps he had bullied her. He also began to think on the hypocrisy accusation and eventually he returned to the house to announce he was leaving and, to cries from Imogen for him to reconsider, he went into the diary room.

The upshot; Richard behaved very badly, he attempted to justify hiding alcohol because of the comments by Imogen in bed, and in some sort of diversionary defence attacked Imogen pretty nastily. He also deployed a whole series of diversionary tricks and ploys in the discussions which were dishonest and specious. Mikey’s, Sezer’s and Imogen’s behaviour was entirely reasonable, and Sezer was upfront, very lucid and articulate and undeniably reasonable. Mikey was transformed into a human capable of delivering reasoned and articulate argument and showed he could more than be a human scarecrow in the face of some wrongdoing. Imogen showed a feisty and articulate side to her
