An LP by a band called THE GLOBSTERS from Hazard, KY opened up with this 2 min+ sample. Of course it was a great record.
Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth on Piper's Pit in 1985. At end of the clip a potentially car crash creepy moment instantly turns to comedy gold.

Terry Funk was the best. One of the old guard (he started in 1965) who saw the tide changing years before everyone else and adapted his style and persona to make himself relevant.
Greg Sage of THE WIPERS (b. about 1952) released a video circa the late 90's of a local Portland wrestler called Beauregard.
Young Greg had little interest in ring craft but loved the arrogant persona Beauregard who excelled as a hilarious trash talking heel.
Greg played on his intro tune which Beauregard sang himself - Testify
This is from about 1970-71.
Anyway Beauregard also had his own personally designed outfits inc. dressing up as a pirate.
Greg released the video as a tribute to his friend as he claimed no one had recorded their own walk on tune before or put as much effort in outfits image and promos. Greg wanted Beau to get his dues.
