I thought that was a great gig. Parts of it (the last tune and the encore in particular)were simply some of the best live music i've ever heard.

Okay, I don't feel bad about not 'getting' it now. My head just kept wandering during it and I was scanning the crowd more that I was paying attention. I did notice though that the crowd got more animated for the songs with more lyrics.

Yes, it was. I actually left my friends there and went for a pint round the corner before it ended. Probably the most disappointing gig I've ever been too.

The live show owes more to the likes of Orbital or Underworld than anything else.

had low expectations, always thought they were a hundred times better on record, but that was excellent.

as stan said above, that really long version of fireworks was the highlight.

I think there was a spilt drink down at the front of the stage. When they came out for the encore Avey put a couple of towles underneath a 4 gang, seemed to be OK after that.

Weird gig. Got better as it went on.

But I fucking hate Tripod. What an awful place. Missed the start and then booted out on our ear as soon as the last note was played by ogre-ish bouncers.

Fireworks was fucking brilliant though. Wasn't the best gig I've seen by them. Noisiest crowd I've seen at any gig though.
