Harvieston Bitter and Twisted
Very tasty beer.
just remembered i've also had the Harviestoun Old Engine Oil which i really enjoyed.
Old Engine Oil is a great dark beer. Appropriate name too.just remembered i've also had the Harviestoun Old Engine Oil which i really enjoyed.
Off the top of my headm, that's the only nice lager brewed in the UK, which I can think of.do they have another one beginning with "s" - schallion" or something like that.

Lovely beer.
Gradually. Walk into a random boozer and your best bet is still Guinness.Ireland sounds like its getting its beer selection together.
Sound. I was getting a pain in my rocks with the state of the selection there over the spring.
Flashback, you would love this beer.Getting this shit down my beerhole right now.

Fucking unbelievable. Brewed with fresh (rather than dried) hops which is a first for me. Anyway, got it in the Drinks Store in Stoneybatter a few days back. Going to have Hopdevil from the same brewery tomorrow.
I thought it was a bit one-dimensional. Have you tried the Sierra Nevada Torpedo? Brilliant beer, and much more to it, IMO.Fucking unbelievable.

One dimensional indeed, but I'm not convinced that that's in any way a bad thing. The hops were huge but tasted perfect.I thought it was a bit one-dimensional. Have you tried the Sierra Nevada Torpedo? Brilliant beer, and much more to it, IMO.
Indeed, but I can't help preferring Fuller's ESB.Their ESB is nice too.
They're two very different beers (and the acronyms stand for different things). I don't get the notion of "ESB" as a defined beer style.Indeed, but I can't help preferring Fuller's ESB.
I took it to be a souped up bitter or a less hoppy IPA. Both beers would fit that description.I don't get the notion of "ESB" as a defined beer style.
