Are you a very wealthy individual?

well that's definitely the most records i've bought in a short period of time, not a regular occurence. basically saved up for the trip and let fly... plenty of 5 euro records in there and also got a bunch of em for 8 quid each from Soundohm

but yea, i'm also minted

All on CD

Drab Majesty - The demonstration
The psychedelic furs - debut
Led Zeppelin - BBC sessions
Killing joke - Night time
Various Artists: Electric junk - Deutsche rock, psych & kosmische 1970-78 boxset
Various Artists: C86 - deluxe edition (indie pop compilation)

Just bought a soldering iron from woodies, €18.99 reduced from €60!

I don't quite believe the €40 reduction, I mean this thing looks like it should be €18.99 but I have no idea how much these things generally so I may be wrong. Anyway, if you're in the market for a soldering iron ....

That's retail for you. List it at an inflated price so they can reduce it to the *bargain* price.
All the big retailers do it. Always compare the deals. Always. Especially if they have loads of them

Various Artists : Waves of distortion – The best of shoegaze 1990-2022 2CD
The Danse Society – Heaven is waiting
Drab Majesty – Completely careless
Drab Majesty – Modern Mirror

I think I'm having a midlife crisis. Turned 50 a few months ago & am listening to loads of goth & darkwave.
If I don't keep it in check, I could end up like this.....

I have 8 or 9 of them and then a bunch of reissues.

Some major wants there. I'd never afford ( or justify) most now

There must a few hundred thousands worth of records on display there?
Never saw anything like it even online.

There's a cool video of Scott Helland from Outpatients and Deep Wound with all his early HC records - all Dischord, Touch & Go etc.

Ordered a CD of this compilation. Looks interesting

Only know two of those songs.
Andreas Dorau's song was a big hit in West Germany and Mute licenced it in UK. One of my favourite videos ever.

Gerry and The Holograms is the 1979 tune that sounds like a famous New Order hit. Only heard of this when Finders Keepers reissued it

Forgot that I bought Ani Difranco's latest on record at the gig in the nch the other week. TBH I hadn't really given it much of a go since it came out but it's a good album. Produced by the guy who did the last Low album. So half of it is quite sonically intense, half of it isn't.

MOVING AWAY FROM THE PULSEBEAT : POST PUNK IN BRITAIN 1978-1981 (5 CD CLAMSHELL BOXSET)
Yet another compilation from Cherry red. I like these themed, genre based sets.

T-REX : CHILDREN OF THE REVOLUTION - AN INTRODUCTION TO MARC BOLAN (2 CD)
There are endless amounts of T-Rex comps available, but I got this one because its mostly
album tracks….& a few of the hits as well. For a time he was the perfect pop star.

BOB VYLAN - Humble as The Sun LP

+ Some CD's to fill in big gaps in collection.

RIKK AGNEW - All By Myself CD. 1982 album by Adolescents guitarist. Death rock / LA gothic punk.
MILES DAVIS - Evil Live 2xCD (1971)
NAKED RAYGUN - Basement Screams CD. 1983 EP which I boot of since 90's. Bonus rehearsal tracks are cool. N.R inc. Santiago Durango (Big Black) look so young in photos.

Charles Tournemire - L'Orgue Mystique played by Tjeerd van der Ploeg 5xCD.
Tournemire (d. 1939) AFAIK wrote a cycle of organ music to be played at Masses over 51 weeks of the year?? I first heard of Tournemire as Olivier Messiaen studied under him.
5 CD seems to be a comp. of about half the pieces from L'Orgue Mystique.
Beautiful ethereal organ music.

I bought another cherry red compilation.....that's enough of these yokes for a while now.
