i worked as a chambermaid for 4 months in an alpine hotel in bavaria. the setting was stunning and it was one of the best summers i've ever had but the work was really tiring and you learn alot about humans when you see how they live. you also find stains in the most unthought of places. barf. i had to get up early and the work was strenuous lugging around hoovers and whatnot. but i did lose a shedload of weight
in the evenings then i was back in the hotel to pull pints and waitress which was heaps more fun plus i got fed for free aswell.
i guess shit jobs are a part of life, most people have had to do some form or another.
Didn't really fancy becoming a hooker, which probably would have made the other shitty jobs pale in comparison.
I worked as a night security guard in a nursing home. It broke me.Then I worked in an old peoples' home. I thought it would be all twinkly-eyed tales of surviving the Blitz and shagging Yank soldiers, instead it was all 'where's my sherry?' and 'clean right between my toes, will you?'. And of couse the all-pervading smell of wee.
First time I've seen two guys having sex as well.
What was the second time?
When I went to see 66e support the Camembert Quartet in the Sugar Club.
i know a bloke who did that. great job. all he really needed was enough for the rent.best/worst job was washing dishes in an Irish pub in Pargue for a summer, crap work, but only worked 4 1/2 shifts, lived really well, had a great time. It was mindless work which suited me just right at the time.
you leave clint alone, he's worked hard for everything he's got.Clint 'Fingercuffs' Velour deserved everything he got.
A sore arse full of indie jizm?you leave clint alone, he's worked hard for everything he's got.
indie? au contraire, mon frere. clint's a giver, not a taker. can't you tell?A sore arse full of indie jizm?
