Again some of the records they mention aren't my favourites either.
Hardly worth moaning too much about.

I have never listened to Dark Side of the Moon the whole way through.

Metal Machine Music mentioned in Peter Hook's contribution is awesome.
Have listened to that a few times in a row.

Caro Kelley is a bland singer songwriter. For some reason this isn't the first time she came up in my feed reviewing records.
Caro has listened to 1000 LPs over the last year and here she names her 10 worst.
The four oldest records she disses here (#7, #6, #2 and #1) are four favourite LPs of mine. Some of the others are good. I'd say a few people here (inc. Cornu Ammonis) will get even more of laugh out of this than I did.

I was expecting to be rage-baited but it all felt so sincere and like a real normal person, I found it really interesting compared to someone like The Needle Drop. The Neubauten album is a hard listen and I don’t even listen to it much. Surprised to see NIN and PJ Harvey in there, same with Joy Division. However, she is bang on about that Boards of Canada album - it’s pure muck. And this one might be the most controversial here: I totally agree about Space Ritual. I hate that album.

Yeah - Caro seems OK. "I just don't like it" is a valid response. As a musician herself she can take criticism. Some of the comments in response were silly.

Out of interest why don't you like Space Ritual? There are several Hawkwind LPs that I listen to more but for a live LP it is really good. Luv Robert Calvert contributions too. Hawkwind are my favourite 70's pre punk rock band

I listened to space ritual on CD yesterday. Would easily prefer Warrior on the edge of time.
I'm not a major hawkwind fan. I think I have 5 albums on CD.
Yer wan complaining about the strange keyboards sounds & the weird spoken word parts...to me that's the best thing about them.

yeah - it's kinda early hawkwind USP really.

agree on warrior though, it's probably the best of their early records (which are the best of their records full stop imho)

Warrior on The Edge of Time, In Search of Space + Space Ritual are also in my top 5

have to agree with you here. some of the albums in her list are canonical to me but I actually loved the video, she seems great!

does she have a video of her top ten? would be very curious...

Listening to some Sleep Token. It goes from auto tuned jibber jabber r n'b / hip hop production, to earnest pop vocals to modern soundtrack music to that inner scream, 2 note, stop start "metal" all in one song. Every millisecond of it is processed to fuck. But.....I can see why people like it. But, yeah...its not metal.
