Same for book/movie/music reviewers?

Someone like Robert Christgau publishing books compiling his record reviews is pathetic too.
Generally people who are paid to review music are very mediocre or don't have any great insight or knowledge. Some are excellent though.

Based on the review, this sounds like a bullshit restaurant whose whole strategy is selling over-priced shit food to idiots and which has put a larger proportion of its giant investment (2.5 million) into its decor than it has into the cooking and the ingredients.

It's not some struggling mom-and-pop joint operating on a shoestring. This shit needs to be called out.

In general, I find the Irish Times restaurant reviews to be pretty useful (though I rarely go out to eat in Dublin). Was very pleased when they gave a positive shout-out to the local Mexican place in Rialto where a young(ish) Mexican couple took over a local cafe and are making a go of it turning it into a Mex joint in the evenings.
