It has some great parts, looks fantastic but needed an editor to trim the fat and to fix things like the biologist and the geologist characters. Also, it is best viewed as having nothing to do with Alien as it really dilutes the unknown terror and previously unresolved mystery surrounding the original movie. It just feels so unnecessary to me to go back and explain the genesis of humanity via the Alien movies.
