Do you lot delete work emails? i have 40,000 in my inbox after 7 years. Storage is struggling.

There's a company policy to auto delete after like 2 years or something?
I think after some lawsuit or other

Pain in the hoop when tehre's something there you actually want

I will often sort by size or by subject, and delete older mails in a chain.
For a while there was a mail chain bouncing back and forward, 7MB per mail. Freed up a couple of hundred MB by deleting all but the newest ones.

Our server is IMAP but I'll often archive locally as things fill u[
