i was reading this thing last night about the early deep sea divers (in those bulky iron helmeted suits) who would talk about the dreaded phenomena known as 'the squeeze'
basically if there was any problem with the air pumps on the surface and pressure was lost in the suit, the vacuum created would suck the diver through the helmet at such speed as to leave nothing but 'a pile of bones and some rags of flesh'.
