episode was great - i don't think they're using the orchid,
i think the orchid is using the island...

the one thing that bugged me was sun buying out her
father's company with her settlement..it made no sense,
although elsewhere it has been suggested that perhaps
she bought out the company with ben's help. makes a
lot of sense, when you consider he has sayiid and michael
on the books, and her whole "you are ONE of the men
responsible" thing to her old man / her old man's bidness
relationship with widmore....

i bet that happens!

Crash settlement + dead husband settlement still probably wouldn't be enough to buy out a stake in Sun's dad's company. Can it be assumed that he is Dharma linked aswell?

And are we supposed to have forgotten that the others were willing to massacre all the beach people just like how the freighter crew are planning to?

sorry, yeah - that's my point...the settlement can't have
been that big. i mean we've seen kate's gaff, it's nice
but not buyout a big industrialist nice.

dunno about the dharma link...i mean we don't really know
much about dharma and its origins and how it ties to hanso
or widmore (if it does). we do know that paik is in cahoots
with Jim Daniels though

Way more than a year surely? Jack and Kate get together after the court case. How old was Aaron then - 2 or 3? Beardjack comes after they split up again. How long does it take to spiral out of control on booze and perscription pills and grow a beard? I would imagine that Beardjack will be present day at the time the next series starts, so probably about 3-4 years off the island.

phone and the nirvana nostalagia...pretty sure the nirvana
boxset and the kurt cobain diaries had just come out around the
time it's supposed to be

It was great as I could remember stuff in later episodes referenced from S01 or S02 but it was the worst idea ever at the same time.
