Brian, what's that Cro Magnon record like? I've nearly bought it a few times, but i'm not familiar with them. Looks interesting though.
it's one of my favourite albums ever: one of the most peculiar and imaginative albums ever. recorded in 1968 but totally ahead of its time. the opening track, "caledonia", is the most conventional, but its a crushing juggernaut which is one of the most powerful songs i have heard: predicts alot of grindcore and sludgy metal. it sounds like some fucking insane cross of sleep and comus. the rest of the album is seriously bizarre stuff, it has a completely demented and menacing sound throughout. it still sounds completely fresh and for the most part unlike anything else: breathtaking, inspiring stuff.
they only did one album: orgasm. the cd reissue is available at a remarkably low price.
