Just watched The Pianist. Harrowing. Adrien Brody is deadly in it. Up next is The Brood. So much for easy Sunday hangover viewing.

Captain America. Pretty good filum but what struck me throughout is the design. Sets, logos, costumes the lot. superb.

Finding the Brood pretty boring, disappointingly. Might stick on Polanski's "What?" instead.

This was very enjoyable. Weird, funny, pervy and the lead actress is a bit of a ride. Her character gets slapped around a bit and almost sexually assaulted a few times which felt a little uncomfortable as it was played for laughs. Polanski, eh? Creepy genius. So, yeah, I would recommend this despite the casually misogynistic tone in certain scenes.

Watched The Double. A watchable, awful, mess of a spy story. Before that was some Nicholas Cage / January Jones / Guy Pearce thing - seeking justice? meh. Poor T-dog just can't catch a break.
