Ju-on. The very first, made for TV one. It's crap! not scary at all. the scares are laughable. i'm disappointed because i'd heard that it was the scariest of all the J-Horror stuff. does the series get better as it goes along?

I really enjoyed Sheitan. Its pretty odd ball and Im a big Vincent Cassel fan.

I always mix it up with Calvaire for some reason. Theres also a Gary Oldman film called 'BackWoods' which no one seems to have seen with is kinda in the same vein.

Also, I came across this looking for that image above. A show about chimp secret agents. Featuring a chimp with a monocle. TV studios in the 70s knew what people wanted to see.

I saw a fil called VICTIM from last year which sounded exactly like that Pedro A film.

DOBERMAN COP. Not a doberman in sight, but Sonny Chiba carries around a pig (porcine, not law enforcing) for the entire film.

MACHINE GUN DRAGON. This is a Bunta Sugawara yakuza type film that somehow snuck into a Sonny Chiba box set (Chiba appears briefly). There's a great crying fighting scene in this, very Cage-like.
