I'd also wait a couple of months before splashing out on 8. I've got it and there's still too many fuck-ups to run smoothly. I've lost a few hours work here and there from the buggy-ness of it. It's at 8.04 but i'd wait 'til 8.08 at least.
Mind you, when it works it's fucking fabulous.
