Band practice must have been a howl

They've done a few performances of it where they've played the whole thing overnight. Would love to go to one of those, I saw the shortened version at the NCH and it was super relaxing.

However - it defies the point of the record:

the LP 'highlights' are stunning. The gig was hard work though, long and sort of hard to stay awake (which was probably the whole point).

I loved that thing he did in australia where he played a gig and everyone who went got a bed, and could just sleep through the whole thing.
