"This is Nightlive" - the new Irish Seinfeld / Roaring Twenties? (2 Viewers)

Is it just me or does Mr. Handsome keep slurring his lines a lot? It's like it was shot "as live" and they didn't want to go back and do it again.

woeful...I could see every character except the Entertainment bitch lifted straight from Anchorman. At least I can now put a face to that cunt who does 90% of the radio ads. He's older than I thought.

Hey I was just surprised it wasn't complete dick-vomit..way better than any other rte recent comedy(thats not sayin much...and i'm open to challenge) and leagues ahead of that atrocity of a show 'Now Thats What I Call Telly 08'...and if it couldn't be original then better that it rip off Day Today, Brooker and The Onion than not. A couple of throw away lines got a chortle outta me...like the abortion lead-in seg cut to the weatherman ''Thanks Johnny! Well now, lets see if any of you will have to terminate your plans for the weekend, shall we?Hahaha!''

though it'd be waaaaaaaaay worser.

Yes pete it was like TV3 daytime for real.

my italics are stuck on 'on'...i'm exhausted emphasising non-essential script...is that my pc or thumped wizardry?

Did anyone else notice it was presented by John VIP Magazine/Blogorrah Ryan?????? He has an axe to grind with most of the Irish media. Thought he had scampered off to NY forever!! It was way too cynical (with very few laughs), very much based on a tried and tested template, has potential, but its basically a rehash of The Day Today...albeit one directly modelled on TV3 news presentation.

WOEFUL. I think this might have given me cancer. Hiring actors who had a sliver of comedic timing might have helped but not much as it was derivative, unoriginal, unfunny afterbirth.

At least I can now put a face to that cunt who does 90% of the radio ads. He's older than I thought.

And uglier, smaller and balder. Cunt.
