Yep, game of 2 halves, Gallas out for the rest of the season though.
I would say that Walcott wasn't used enough in the 2nd half and faded a bit, Nasri while neat and tidy can do better and Cesc still needs more games.
Manu only came into it after his goal and then he was fantastic.

So for tonight.

No Manny
No Gallas
No Clichy
No Djourou
and this just in
No Sagna

Just as well there's no Senna either. Arsenal's defence is Eboue, Toure, Silvestre and Gibbs. So in reality, Arsenal's defence will be scoring more goals than Villareal. I reckon they'll do it okay.

Dunphy claims that Gibbs played centre half on Saturday against Wigan.

Clown.

Dunphy has always talked a hefty amount of bollocks, albeit quite often done so in a very amusing manner. The consistency with which he is trotting out inaccuracies about players names and positions is becoming ridiculous though.

Jimmy Magee was the best last night on the highlights. He just called the players whatever names he felt like: "Iniesta (really Xavi)...to Kieta (Abidal)....across to Messi (E'to)....and it's in!.....by....er.....Barcelona!"

He finished with: "A football team is like a piano - it takes eight men to carry it, and three to play it." Madzer.

Great performance.
The 1st 15 mins we were totally of the planet.
Gibbs was very good at left back, Silvestre def not up to the standards but what choices did we have?
RVP is such a talented player too....wish he could stay injury free.
Cesc was a bit too carefree and lost possesion a few times, Eboue had some lovely runs and skill but his final ball is woeful.

Delighted Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas said: "We wanted to try to score early to keep the pressure on — and we did that well.
"At the end 3-0 is quite a fair result, we could have scored a few more but let's not be greedy."

1. Wrong team selection
2. Wrong shape
3. Wrong substitutions
1. How can you not play Arshavin and Song after the their performances of late? He could do nothing about the problems at the back but what the fuck??
2. Fabregas prefers playing deep why was he pushed up? Our top scorer played wide left?!? Our tactics nullified our best players, Chelsea didn't have to.
3. Why bring off Van Persie AND Adebayor?!? What the fuck were we gonna do if we did get to extra time?

Wenger picked this team to draw, same as he did against ManU the last time we won it. When it comes to the crunch, despite all his bullshit, he doesn't trust this team to go toe to toe with the big teams. He's responsible for the players we have and if their not good enough to go toe to toe with the big boys then he should move upstairs and let someone with balls come in and manage the team.
Well pissed off and had enough. We had enough to beat Chelsea yesterday, but our manager didn't give us a chance.
