that the twitter embeds have been changed. They now load in an iframe, which means they won't load if you have a very old browser or if you have javascript disabled. This has been done not to break shit for the sake of breaking shit, but to allow me to change how the social media buttons at the bottom of each page work.
It now takes two clicks to like / tweet / share / whatever a page, as to protect your privacy and to improve the page loading speed the javascript these functions require will now only be loaded from their respective servers when actually needed, instead of loading on every page refresh.
This also means that old twitter embeds will no longer render correctly, but I think we can live with that for the sake of some privacy and performance increases?
